Clemson University is divided into seven colleges that include the College of Agriculture, Forestry, & Life Sciences and the College of Behavioral, Social & Health Sciences, as well as colleges that deal with engineering, education, business, and a handful of other areas. Clemson University is a public institution in Clemson, South Carolina, and has been in operation since 1889. Founded as the Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina, the university has built a reputation for research at its 17,000-acre research forest. Clemson University Application Requirements
Prospective first-year students at Clemson University will need to fill out the online application, send official high school transcripts to the university, and request that standardized test scores are sent to the university directly from the testing agencies. Some students will need to send additional application materials for certain programs. For example, students who want to pursue theater or music will need to audition during the application process.
Graduate student applications are handled by The Graduate School at the university, and students will complete the entire application process online. The overall university doesn’t have a specific deadline for applications, but some programs have their own deadlines in place. Students may apply to The Graduate School as non-degree seeking students, but applicants must prove they will benefit professionally from enrolling in graduate-level programs.
