Creighton University is a Jesuit university located in Omaha, Nebraska. The school is known for its rigorous political science, business, and medical programs. Creighton University also has a robust performing arts school.

The majority of Creighton University’s students and programs are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences, but Heider College of Business is arguably the best known of Creighton University’s colleges and schools. One of the undergraduate degrees available to business students is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing. This degree requires 18 major credits with classes like Advertising and Promotion, Public Relations Writing and Marketing Research. Students pursuing this degree, and all other undergraduate degrees, must also complete all general education requirements.
Masters degree seeking students have a wide range of offerings, including a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences in Oral Biology. This degree is ideal for those students interested in pursuing dentistry. Students can choose between two tracks when they pursue this master’s degree. These tracks are dental materials or oral biology.
Doctoral degrees are offered in medicine, leadership and natural sciences. A doctorate in medical microbiology immunology supports the understanding of medical research. Students will take courses that including Foundations of Microbiology, Bacterial Physiology, Host Defense and Biostatistics.
Creighton University’s online campus is highly respected for offering quality degrees through alternative teaching methods Students can pursue undergraduate degrees in emergency medical services, healthy lifestyle management or leadership. A much larger number of master’s degrees are offered online. These degrees range from areas like ministry and school counseling to business administration and analytics. Creighton University Accreditation Details
Creighton University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. This accreditation allows the university to award undergraduate and post-graduate degrees and certificates. The online campus is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission as well.

Creighton University Application Requirements
Undergraduate applicants to Creighton University use the online portal to submit applications. Creighton University does not require a minimum GPA or college admission test scores to be considered for admission. The university uses this information combined with community service and course rigor to determine admission.
Students are expected to have taken a specific course load in high school in order to qualify for admission. They must have taken a minimum of three mathematics courses, two foreign language courses, two natural and social science courses, four English classes, and at least three electives.
Applicants interested in attending Creighton University for post-graduate studies have different standards depending on which course of study they wish to pursue. Every applicant must have earned an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. Most can expect to complete an application, a statement of purpose or personal essay, provide references, and supply test scores. Hopeful applicants should contact their chosen department for exact application requirements.
Online students must apply online. They must provide all transcripts and supporting documents. Some programs also require entrance exam scores.
Tuition and Financial Aid
Undergraduate tuition at Creighton University is based on the type of program in which the student is enrolled. Students who are pursuing arts and science, business, or nursing degrees can expect tuition of approximately $41,000 per year for full-time enrollment. Students at the College of Professional Studies are charged about $30,000 if they attend full-time classes on campus. Part-time students are charged at a rate of $486 to $917 per credit hour depending on which area they choose to study.
The cost of graduate degree tuition is based entirely on the degree program and can greatly vary. The standard graduate rate is $927 per credit hour. This figure may be lower or higher for any given program.
In addition to tuition, Creighton University students are expected to pay all appropriate fees. All students enrolled in full-time programs are charged a university fee and a technology fee. Other fees may be required of some students.
There are numerous aid packages offered to students who qualify. All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, to determine their eligibility for need-based grants, loans, and some scholarships. Creighton University accepts outside, private scholarships to assist with tuition costs. The school also offers its own scholarships that are both need-based and merit-based. Scholarships range in dollar amount and have many different requirements.
