Applicants eligible for this business scholarship are any full-time undergraduate business student starting their second year at an accredited college or university, or any graduate student, with a minimum GPA of 3.3. This opportunity is open to students of any business-related major. Deadlines are in July, and the amount is typically around $2500.
3. Project Management Institute
The Project Management Institute offers both a scholarship and a direction for students who are unsure about where to pursue their degrees. Their PMI Educational Foundation Academic Scholarship Program offers more than 40 annual academic scholarships for students from any institution in the amount of $1000 to $7500. PMI also offers exclusive scholarships for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students of the University of Management and Technology. One of the scholarships, in the amount of $23,400, pays for an entire year of tuition.
4. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
Every aspiring entrepreneur knows the name, Bill Gates. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation aims to award students who not only demonstrate academic excellence but also strive for leadership. The Gates Millennium Scholars Program provides financial assistance for a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate students from underprivileged ethnic and racial backgrounds. 5. Michael and Susan Dell Foundation
The Micheal and Susan Dell Foundation recognizes that students from low-income families and first-generation college students need the most financial assistance to achieve their academic and career goals. This was their inspiration for establishing the Dell Scholars Program. Eligible applicants are high school seniors enrolling in full-time bachelor’s degree programs. All they need is a minimum 2.4 GPA, a demonstrated need for financial assistance, and a drive to achieve. Not only do these scholarships provide financial assistance, but they also include access to several academic resources that keep students on a track for success.
